By Train:
Take the Joetsu Shinkansen from Tokyo station, and get off at Echigo Yuzawa
station.
If you contact us and let us know when you arrive at the station, we can pick you up and bring you to Garden Cress ( at no
charge ).
Come out of the ticket barriers at the
station, turn right, go down the elevator and exit from the station. To the right you will find our car ( with
the names Garden Cress and Hotel Alpine written on them ).
By Car:
Exit from the toll booths of the Yuzawa I.C. ( Kanetsu Expressway ), turn right at the traffic lights. At the next traffic lights, turn left, and
you will soon be at a T-junction. At the T-junction, turn left, and follow the road.You will soon see Iwappara Ski Resort. Garden Cress is located within the Ski Resort and so drive up the
hill, and continue until Parking Area Number 6.
CAR PARK
( Out of the ski season, you can park in front of Garden Cress ).
You can park in Parking Area Number 5. Baggage can be taken out of your vehicle at the back of Parking 6, and soon take your car back to Parking 5. It takes about 5-8 minutes to walk from the
Parking 6 underground tunnel to Garden Cress.
