the Iwappara Ski Resort in Yuzawa Town, Garden Cress was built in 1987 as a sister
hotel to the “Hotel Alpine”. From the windows of the hotel, the views range from the specatacular valley of Yuzawa
towards Tanigawadake below, to the wide ski and snowboard runs of the Iwappara
Ski Resort. The lights of Yuzawa Town in the evening also make for a wonderful mood and atmosphere.

also used for visitor lunches, with a special feature being the delicious home-made cakes
